A picture of Erin, a white woman with brown hair and glasses wearing a dark pink shirt under a light green jean jacket, standing in front of a bookshelf lined with books arranged by color.

Erin Madison works in book publishing by day and writes YA novels starring queer and disabled characters by night, weekend, and lunch hour. Diagnosed with Stickler syndrome (a connective tissue disorder) at a young age, she is dedicated to improving disability representation in books and is one of the founding members of Disability in Publishing.

Originally from Arizona, she currently lives in Massachusetts with her wife and one tiny tuxedo cat. In the free time she likes to pretend she has, she does improv, watches women’s soccer, and obsessively visits indie bookstores.
